DETAILS
This handcrafted belt is for people who value artisan level belts. Hand cut from full grain leather hides. Hand tooled basket weave, which means each mark on the belt is made with a hand held die and rawhide mallet strike. Hand dyed to antique medium brown or to vintage aged black. Hand waxed for a warm sheen. Black leather backing with motion sewn white stitching. Chicago screws to secure the buckle in place and the screws allow the buckle to be changed. Classic old-time handcrafting.
This belt is handmade in the USA, in southern Indiana, and it deserves a high quality buckle, so we pair our handcrafted belt with a solid brass buckle from Massachusetts. It's the best quality buckle available and has a vintage antique brass finish for a timeless classic look.
This belt is truly heirloom quality; handmade from beginning to end by a single craftsman at his work bench. It's American made from top to bottom.
Belts meant to last a lifetime are cut from the center back portion of hides where the leather is thick and durable. That is how our belts are cut. This belt also has black leather lining on the inside for a high class style.
This belt is made at a 1.5” in width. If you need 1.25” width, please include a note to let us know.
BUCKLE
The belts are shown in our photos with the antique brass buckle, and the belt comes standard with this solid brass buckle. But you can choose a different buckle if desired. See the photo of the buckles and choose your buckle. The silver roller buckle is stainless steel. If you want a different buckle, there will be a place to include a note when you check out to tell us which buckle you'd like.
NOTE
The buckle is removable for exchanging. The buckle is changeable by simply unscrewing the Chicago screws.
